We specialize in cultural competence in health care, diversity training and consulting, and employment law training and consulting.

Critical Measures’ trainers and consultants have more than 30 years of diversity-related training and consulting experience. They represent a wide array of professional disciplines and include doctors, lawyers, business consultants, researchers, psychologists, and academics. They also represent different races, ethnicities, genders, age groups, religions, national origins, languages, cultures, and sexual orientations. Nearly two-thirds of our consultants and trainers are persons of color whose heritage is African American, Arab American, Asian American, Latino, Filipino or Somali. Approximately 60 percent of our trainers and consultants are women, and 40 percent are men.

How Our Model Helps Organizations Adapt to Change
Critical Measures’ model for organizational change takes place in three phases:
(1) awareness, knowledge and skills training; (2) real-life applications and skills transfer; and (3) infrastructure changes and system accountability. We use assessment surveys, interviews and focus groups, and classroom and e-learning instruction to develop higher levels of cultural competence within the client organization. Training programs go beyond general awareness and knowledge to develop practical skills.
